Here is the original chicken coop, converted from a child's playhouse in 2003. It has fencing in front, and a makeshift food & water overhang on the right. It housed approximately 6 or 7 chickens.
A rooster & hen that were kept separatly, and had their own small shelter within the "rabbit area."

Same chickens in spring. This is the first batch of chickens that laid eggs for the farm.
These three seemed to like to walk around together a lot. Perhaps they were part of an elitist clutch.
